Deltas remain habitable

The greatest challenge of all time has begun for deltas worldwide, keeping them habitable under global change. Even with two metres of sea level rise, while the land continues to sink, changing weather patterns and facing a loss of biodiversity. Knowledge of water and subsurface systems and understanding socio-ecological changes are indispensable for this complex design task.
